The Great Salt Lake has shrunk dramatically leaving hundreds of miles of toxic sand exposed to the prevailing westerly winds, blowing arsenic and other toxics on the bulk of our population. The bulk of Utah legislators are developers; no one in the legislature has expertise in climate or water policy and science.
