It's time for better balance in the Utah Legislature. Partisan politics isn't working. As an Independent, Patrick will do what's best for all of his constituents, regardless of party affiliation.

Patrick is the critical thinking, problem solving candidate we need for the Utah Legislature. He is spot on that the left vs right stuff isn't working for us and we need an independent voice to better represent the people, not a party.

It is time to get rid of the one- party (Republican) representation in the Utah legislature and also vote in more people who oppose and do NOT endorse Trump for anything. I ran for this same office 2times against incumbent Loraine Pace; received 39+% of the vote - worked hard and felt eventually someone would come along and beat the Republican stronghold . I am a registered Democrat, but I think Patrick has the best chance to win this seat; the best message and background to carry through. I retired in 2018 after 50 years in education. I have been a teacher, mentor, union president, administrator, and was elected to Logan City School Board.I don’t think any of the representatives for this district have really done anything significant for education, equality for all, protection of women’s right to make reproductive decisions without the government watch dog barking out extremist views; endorsement by Planned Parenthood is significant. “We are not going back”. I believe Patrick is honest, sincere, and working hard to make a real difference - not just win the seat and settle back and follow the Republican agenda. So excited to vote for Patrick Belmont.

I’m endorsing Patrick Belmont because I truly believe he’s the best for our district. He cares about the people. He’s engaged with the community and he has what it takes to lead us in the right direction. Not only does he talk the talk he walks the walk.

It's simple, really. Patrick Belmont is the one candidate for the Utah House of Representatives who is committed to listening to his constituents and not be beholden to a political party. He comes across as thoughtful and attentive, which is very different from many of those who are currently in the Utah House. We need such a person in the Legislature now because the issues Utah faces are complex and require awareness.

Here in Utah, we are facing so many big challenges such as water constraints, air quality, housing, and economic stability. Patrick is the best person by far to address these issues because of his ability to research an issue, weigh the options, and identify the best possible solutions. Also, he's such a nice guy!

I met him last election and I asked him a question about river access for anglers. He didn’t have the answer but he called me a week later with information. I met him again this election and he is very professional. I also like how he has no ties to real estate or other big business in Utah.

The Utah House of Representatives needs more legislators who will make fact-based decisions

Patrick Belmont is a watershed scientist and understands the factors that have led to our current water situation. I believe he will be able to help make the right choices and influence using empirical evidence based science.

I am voting for independent Patrick Belmont for Utah House District 3. Patrick has demonstrated intelligence, authenticity, ethics, and integrity - all badly needed in the Utah Legislature. He has shown an understanding of significant issues that the Legislature refuses to address in meaningful, bipartisan ways, such as climate and water issues; housing; and true political consensus and recognition of constituents of all religious and political affiliations. He will represent everyone and strive for consensus and clarity so reasonable solutions can be discussed and presented. Importantly, Patrick recognizes Amendment D for the egregious attempt to strip voters of their rights and a blatant extremist attempt to create an autocratic Utah government that ignores the Constitution of Utah and the United States.

Patrick is the best option for our district and breaks up the red-blue dichotomy as a true independent. He acts with integrity and will be a voice of reason on capitol hill!
